How to get the most from an astrological consultation

🤝

The Right Frame of Mind

Vedic astrology is a guidance system, not a fortune-telling service. It maps the planetary influences at the moment of your birth and their evolving relationship with the present moment. The purpose is to help you navigate life with greater awareness — not to make decisions for you.

Come with an open mind. The most useful consultations happen when the client approaches the session with genuine curiosity rather than looking for a specific answer to confirm a decision already made.

Before Your Consultation

  • Gather your birth data. Date, time and place of birth are essential. The time of birth is the single most important piece of information — please try to verify it from a birth certificate or family records rather than relying on memory. Even a 30-minute error can shift the ascendant and significantly affect the reading.
  • Define your question. Think about what is most on your mind. It helps to have a clear, specific query — e.g. career direction, timing of marriage, health concerns — rather than a general "tell me about my life."
  • Review relevant life history. Major past events (career changes, relationship milestones, health events) can be useful cross-reference points during the consultation.

During the Consultation

  • Feel free to ask the astrologer to slow down or explain any term or concept.
  • Do not feel obliged to volunteer too much information upfront — this allows the astrologer to independently assess the chart, which is more instructive for both parties.
  • Feedback is welcome: confirming or questioning an observation helps refine the analysis.

After Your Consultation

  • Give it time. Some observations may not make immediate sense and become clear only over subsequent weeks or months.
  • One follow-up question is welcomed per e-consultation by reply email.
  • Use the chart generator to revisit your own chart at any time: Chart Generator →

Our Commitment to You

We will be honest, even when the planetary picture is challenging. The purpose of an astrological reading in the Vedic tradition is not to flatter or reassure — it is to illuminate, so that you can act with wisdom.

We respect your privacy fully and will never share your personal information. See our Terms of Use for details.
